Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati – Transfer to Nameri National Park (225 km / 5-6 hours)
Activities:
Arrive Guwahati: Arrive at Guwahati, where you are met by your tour guide. This is the largest city in Assam and known for its cultural heritage on the banks of the Brahmaputra River.
Drive to Nameri National Park: Drive along the scenic view of Nameri National Park, a quiet wildlife sanctuary on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, rich with vegetation and avian fauna.
Day 2: Nameri National Park to Dirang (165 KM / 5-6 hours)
Events:
Morning Drive from Nameri: Post breakfast, drive to Dirang with scenic enjoyment of the lush green landscape on the way.
Dirang Valley Exploration: Arrive at Dirang, the very beautiful hill station with very pleasant weather, beautiful apple orchards, and high-rising Eastern Himalayan views. Visit Dirang Monastery and the hot water springs.
Day 3: Dirang to Jung Fall (Nuranang Falls) (110 KM / 4 hours)
Activities:
Dirang Monastery: Early morning visit to the Dirang Monastery, where an individual can have a nice, quiet, and spiritual look at the big valley from a bird’s eye perspective.
Drive to Jung Fall (Nuranang Falls): A hundred meters drop, Nuranang Falls is beauty epitomized. This hidden gem near Tawang is set in a backdrop of picturesque greenery that offers the perfect opportunity for the perfect snap.
Day 4: Jung Fall to Zemithang (103 KM / 3-4 hours)
Exercises:
Departure from Jung Fall in the Morning: Embark on a beautiful view at the start of your day from Jung Fall on the way to Zemithang.
Explore Zemithang Village: Reach the idyllic village of Zemithang, at the border between India and Bhutan. Visit the Gorsam Chorten and catch a glimpse of the largest stupa in Arunachal Pradesh; feel the tranquillity in life that rural people here experience.
Day 5: Zemithang – Tawang (70 km)
Activity:
Drive to Tawang: From Bomdila, it is a short drive to Tawang, a town steeped in history and religious significance.
Tawang Exploration: Visit the famous Tawang Monastery. It is claimed to be the largest Buddhist monastery in India and the second largest in the world. The monastery represents a vital center of Buddhist culture and learning.
Day 6: Tawang — Bumla Pass Excursion — Return to Tawang (40 KM / 2 hours one way)
Activities:
Bumla Pass Trip: It is a high mountain pass close to the Indo-China Border. It is located 37 km away from Tawang town at 15,200 feet above sea level. From this point, breathtaking views of the Tibetan Plateau will open up along with some of its mountains. Subject to permission from the Army.
Madhuri Lake: On the return journey, visit Madhuri Lake, also known as Sangestar Tso. This beautiful, high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-covered mountains is a quiet and picturesque spot.
Day 7: Tawang to Bomdila (170 KM / 5-6 hours)
Activities:
Drive to Bomdila: From Tawang, proceed for a scenic drive to Bomdila—a cute little town offering views of wide, stunning landscapes towards the Himalayan ranges.
Visit Bomdila Monastery: Also called the Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Ling Monastery, this peaceful monastery is a very important center for Buddhist teachings and rituals.
Day 8: Bomdila to Tipi to Kaziranga National Park (205 KM / 5-6 hours)
Activities:
Tipi Orchidarium: En route to Kaziranga, halt at Tipi Orchidarium. It is among the largest orchidariums in India and has more than 1,000 species of orchids.
Drive to Kaziranga National Park: Continue your journey to Kaziranga National Park in Nagaon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the one-horned rhinoceros.
Day 9: Kaziranga Safari, Transfer to Guwahati (195 km / 4-5 hours)
Activities:
Jeep Safari in Kaziranga: Visit Kaziranga National Park on an early morning jeep safari. Enjoy sights of a variety of local fauna such as one-horned rhinoceroses, tigers, elephants, and numerous bird species.
Elephant Safari: On an elephant safari, you would get much closer to wild animals, close to places inaccessible to jeeps.
Transfer to Guwahati: After the safari, transfer to Guwahati, the bustling gateway to Northeast India.
Day 10: Departure from Guwahati
Things done:
Guwahati Exploration: Spend your morning visiting key places of interest in Guwahati, such as the Kamakhya Temple, or some last-minute shopping.
Departure: The end to this magnificent journey, taking back beautiful memories, will be from Guwahati.
