Delhi – Mathura – Vrindavan – Agra

Day 1 – Arrival in Delhi and Travel to Mathura (162 km / approx. 3 hours)

  • Upon arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our representative.
  • Begin your journey towards Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The drive takes around 3 hours.
  • Check into your pre-booked hotel and freshen up.
  • In the evening, head to the serene banks of the Yamuna River.
    • Witness the peaceful Yamuna Aarti – a divine experience where devotees gather at the ghats to perform rituals with lamps and chants.
    • Spend some quiet moments absorbing the spiritual energy of the ghats.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Mathura Local Sightseeing

  • Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
  • Start your spiritual journey with a visit to Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple.
    • This sacred temple marks the exact spot where Lord Krishna was born.
    • It is one of the Divya Deshams and also a part of the Sapta Puri – the seven most holy pilgrimage cities in India.
  • Proceed to the famous Dwarkadhish Temple, known for its beautiful idol and vibrant prayers.
  • Visit Vishram Ghat, the most important ghat in Mathura where Lord Krishna is believed to have rested after killing Kansa.
  • Explore Govardhan Hill, a sacred site associated with Lord Krishna lifting the hill to protect villagers from the rain god Indra.
  • Visit the Mathura Museum to see ancient sculptures, coins, and art pieces from the era of Krishna.
  • Conclude the day with a visit to Gokul, another important Divya Desham linked with Krishna’s childhood.
  • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Vrindavan Sightseeing (15 km / approx. 30 mins)

  • After breakfast, take a short drive to Vrindavan, a divine town filled with temples and stories of Krishna’s playful childhood.
  • Begin with darshan at Banke Bihari Temple, the most revered temple in Vrindavan.
  • Visit Prem Mandir, a marble wonder known for its majestic architecture and evening light shows.
  • Explore Shree Rang Nath Ji Temple, which reflects South Indian temple style and tradition.
  • Pay respects at Katyayani Peetha, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas.
  • Stop at Shri Jugal Kishore Ji Temple, located on the bank of the Yamuna and associated with Krishna’s pastimes.
  • Visit the world-renowned ISKCON temple, also called Krishna Balaram Mandir, known for its international devotees and serene ambiance.
  • Return to Mathura in the evening.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 – Mathura to Agra and Sightseeing (60 km / approx. 1.5 hours)

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Agra.
  • Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax.
  • In the afternoon, begin exploring Agra with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal.
    • Spend time admiring this timeless white marble monument and learn about its history of love and craftsmanship.
  • Later, explore local markets known for marble souvenirs, leather goods, and local sweets like petha.
  • Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – Full-Day Agra Sightseeing

  • After breakfast, get ready for a full day of exploration in and around Agra.
  • Start with Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar, known for its stunning Mughal architecture.
  • Visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former residence of Mughal emperors.
  • Explore Akbar’s Tomb in Sikandra, a blend of Hindu, Islamic, and Jain architectural styles.
  • Head to Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, often referred to as the ‘Baby Taj’, for its intricate marble work.
  • Visit Mankameshwar Temple, one of the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located near the Agra Fort area.
  • Return to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 – Departure from Agra to Delhi (240 km / approx. 4 hours)

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Begin your return journey to Delhi.
  • On arrival, you will be dropped at Delhi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
  • Tour ends with beautiful memories of the spiritual and historical journey.
